"There are few law firms that have both the political capital and legal firepower to deliver results not achievable by other law firms. These guys have it."
"The attorneys at the firm…bring exceptional trial and investigative expertise, which allows them to handle complex, high-stakes matters with precision and strategic insight."
“A boutique litigation and trial firm recognized for its robust commercial disputes practice. It has expertise in business disputes, securities-related cases and trust and estate litigation.
“Well-regarded litigation boutique with significant pedigree. Founded by former federal prosecutors and focuses on a range of white-collar criminal defense and government investigations
We prepare every case as if we are going to trial, and we work in small, senior-led teams. That focus translates directly to results: better strategy from day one, sharper motions, fewer wasted hours, and often favorable outcomes well before a courtroom is ever needed. When trial is needed, we are more than ready.
Our wide subject-matter experience means we are rarely surprised by what a case throws at us. And we pair that knowledge with cutting-edge AI and litigation technology. So you pay less and get more.
No hierarchy, no bureaucracy. Senior partners work shoulder-to-shoulder with junior lawyers on every case. We like each other and we like what we do, and that shows in the quality of the work and in how we treat clients, co-counsel, and adversaries. Because we handle a small number of hand-picked matters, every client gets our full attention.
The bulk of our trial practice is high-stakes “bet-the-company” work. Our adversaries know that we fear no opponent and will try any case if necessary, which often leads to favorable settlements before trial, which our clients always appreciate.
MRP is incredibly excited to announce our Chambers rankings! MRP was ranked Band #1 in white collar crime and investigations and Band #2 in commercial litigation–one of the few firms in Florida to accomplish that. 4 out of 7 firm attorneys are highly ranked. Jeff Marcus & Daniel Rashbaum are ranked Band 1 in white collar, and Kate Meyers is ranked Band 3. And Michael Pineiro is Band 3 in Litigation – General Commercial. One Chambers reference commented: “The attorneys at the firm bring exceptional trial and investigative expertise, which allows them to handle complex, high-stakes matters with precision and strategic insight.”
Congratulations to MRP partner Jeff Marcus and our amazing trial partners at Gibson Dunn on a major win in a two-week federal bench trial before Judge Middlebrooks! Our firms represented five South Florida hospitals in bringing FDUTPA claims against a national hospital ratings group. Judge Middlebrooks entered full relief in favor of our clients and permanently enjoined the ratings group from continuing to issue and promote misleading safety grades. The decision underscores that transparency and fairness matter when organizations publish ratings that can affect patient decisions and hospital reputations. To our clients: it was a privilege to fight for you and for the patients and communities you serve.
We’re excited to announce that Miriam Alinikoff has joined the firm as a partner. Mimi is a skilled trial litigator whose practice focuses on complex civil litigation and the defense of white-collar criminal matters.
Prior to joining MRP, Mimi served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of Florida, for five years, where she directed numerous complex fraud investigations involving programs administered by federal agencies. In that role, she gained significant experience with healthcare and program fraud matters, including violations of the False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, and other fraud and abuse laws.
MNR is proud to announce a new chapter in the firm’s history. The firm is changing its name to Marcus Rashbaum Pineiro & Meyers LLP (MRP), reflecting the elevation of Kathryn Meyers to name partner and the departure of Jeffrey Neiman.
Kate has been with the firm since its inception and is an exceptional litigator, having recently been rated by U.S. Chambers & Partners as a top white collar litigator in Florida.
Jeffrey Neiman is departing the firm. MRP extends its appreciation and best wishes to him for his many contributions over the years.
